Jie Luo, PhD

Dr. Luo has worked on development of crosslink based mass spectrometry (CXMS) technologies to study protein-protein interactions (PPIs) and the architecture of large protein complexes. He applied these technologies to study architectures of human and yeast transcription/DNA repair TFIIH complexes, the SAGA transcription complex, SWI/SNF complex, and the Pol I core factor complex. He continues to develop novel technologies for global PPIs, dynamic PPIs and protein conformational changes.
